Primeline Masonry and Roofing

Primeline Masonry and Roofing, at 750 Main St in Cambridge, has collected 30 five-star reviews since February 2026, and the ones with a person in them keep naming Terry: he came out on a weekend to look at a roof problem, gave good advice, and priced it reasonably; another customer said he was transparent on costs and came in on budget. The company says it was established in 2004, is locally owned, and covers masonry, chimneys, foundations, roofing, siding and gutters across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#217742) is active on the state registry. The specific jobs read well. A June 2026 customer had a house and a business reroofed and praised the speed and communication; another had a flat roof and two chimneys done; a third came home to a repaired roof and a cleaned-up site. A February 2026 Angi reviewer had a chimney in poor condition repointed at a fair price, and another that month said the final cost matched the quote and the work areas were kept neat. One June reviewer put it plainly: not the least expensive, but the best they could find for quality and reliability. Google shows 4.9 stars across 34 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor share a 5.0 from seven. Read the review pages with some care, though. A run of March 2026 reviews across both Google and Angi, covering warehouse gutters, siding panels, chimney inspections and a wet basement, uses near-identical wording about modern equipment, skilled manpower and premium waterproofing compounds, and eleven more five-star Google reviews landed in a single week in late June. The named, specific accounts are the ones to weigh. For a roof repair, a reroof, chimney repointing or basement waterproofing, the customers who dealt with Terry directly were satisfied; ask for the written quote he is credited with honoring, and ask for the addresses of a couple of recent jobs you can look at.
