Adrian Bastide's outfit in Haverhill gets called for the jobs that pile up on a list: a TV to mount, an attic ladder to put in, a door that won't shut right. Thumbtack shows 78 hires and a 4.9 average across 43 ratings, and the company says it runs three employees and has been at it five years. The through-line in this year's reviews is care on small work. A customer who hired the company in May for a batch of apartment jobs — heavy items hung, a TV mounted, furniture anchored to the walls — singled out the communication as much as the work itself. Another described a new attic ladder installed meticulously and thoroughly; a third called the door repair quick and responsive. A February customer mentioned patience with kids underfoot during a furniture build, which tells you something about how the visits actually go. Worth knowing before you call: everything on file describes handyman-scale visits, not renovations. The Thumbtack profile also lists general contracting, carpentry and painting among its services, so if the job is a full remodel rather than a punch list, ask specifically for projects of that size and for references to match. The profile lists OSHA 10, 30 and 40 training plus a HAZWOPER 16-hour course and silica and asbestos awareness. Those are the company's own entries on the platform rather than credentials confirmed against an issuing body, so treat them as a claim worth asking about. Thumbtack is also the only place the company has a public track record, which means the 4.9 rests on one site's ratings with nothing to weigh it against. Right call for the punch-list day — the mounting, assembling, patching and small-repair work a larger contractor won't bother with, done by someone reviewers say shows up with the right tools. Confirm scope and price in writing before booking, especially for anything running longer than a few hours.

Adrian is a pro and I'm so happy we hired him to get tons of jobs done around our apartment, from hanging heavy items/mounting a TV to securing furniture to walls, and room layout. He provided excellent customer service, communication, and overall knowledge and experience. Thank you again!

Adrian was kind, thorough, and efficient! Not only did he help put together furniture for my kids, he was also very patient with the never ending questions and them wanting to "help" (mom was unsuccessful at luring them away) Highly recommend!

Adrian came with appropriate tools/supplies needed to complete 4 tasks. He installed a wire shelf and a metal file organizer, then hung up my antique clock, which he handled very carefully and respectfully. He also did some spackling, while giving tips on the best way to remove my adhesive hooks. Adrian did excellent work. I am extremely pleased. I will definitely hire him again! Great choice!
