Brown kitchen cabinets came back gleaming white in a week, to what the homeowner called a factory finish — without the cabinets being emptied and with virtually no dust in the house. That April 2024 job is the kind of work ProPaint's name gets made on. Gonzalo Nunez runs the company out of Georgetown as a small family business, by its own account more than 15 years into fine finishes: interior and exterior painting plus epoxy coatings, for homes and commercial spaces around New England. The work falls into three kinds. Paint — whole interiors, exteriors, trim and ceilings, including a badly cracked ceiling repaired and repainted with glossy crown molding inside two days in March 2024, and a condo painted top to bottom with both entryways in five days in March 2023. Cabinets — sprayed and refinished, as in that April 2024 job and a June 2024 one done alongside a power wash and all the exterior trim. Floors — epoxy in garages and on a shop floor, and a basement slab ground perfectly level for a renovation in February 2023. Customers write about how the crew works in the house as much as about the paint: quiet, clean, out of the way. A November 2023 customer said the house was cleaner than before they arrived. A December 2023 customer barely noticed they were there. In August 2024 someone who has owned more than a dozen properties over 25 years called it the best contractor experience they had had, across an interior repaint, an exterior pressure wash and an epoxy garage floor. Google shows a 5.0 average across 44 ratings, with written accounts running 2023 to 2026 — most from 2023 and 2024, the newest in July 2026 for an office repaint where Gonzalo talked the owners through their options first. A residential realtor wrote in January 2023 that she had known him six years and sends her clients to him. For cabinet refinishing, a fine-finish interior or an epoxy garage floor, this is a specialist shop with the owner on site.
