Forty-four Google ratings, all of them adding up to a clean 5.0 — ProPaint Fine Finishes has not collected a single public complaint in three years of reviews. The shop runs out of Georgetown and describes itself as a small family business with more than fifteen years of fine-finishes work behind it, owned by Gonzalo Nunez. It splits its work in two: interior and exterior painting on one side, epoxy coatings on the other, for houses and commercial spaces alike. It also carries a Georgetown Chamber of Commerce membership. The through-line in what customers write is control of the job site. A homeowner who had an office painted this July described being walked through the options first — the advice was to carry one color across ceiling, trim, doors and walls for a seamless look — and then getting the space back spotless. That combination of consulting first and cleaning up after is what the review history keeps circling back to. Depth is real: 42 reviews since 2023 across four sources, with nothing negative anywhere in them. The one caveat is pace — just one of those reviews landed in the last six months, so the current picture rests on a narrower slice than the total suggests. One useful thing to know: the epoxy side is a genuinely separate line of work from the painting, with its own product choices. If you're calling about a garage or shop floor rather than walls, ask specifically about the coating system and its wear expectations rather than assuming the painting reputation transfers automatically. A good fit for interior repaints, cabinet and trim finishing, and garage floor coatings where you want the owner involved in the plan up front. Before booking, get the prep steps and the color plan in writing, and ask for a current certificate of insurance — the company states it is fully insured, and that is worth confirming on paper.

Gonzalo and his team at ProPaint Fine Finishes did an outstanding job painting my husband’s office. They were fast, professional, quiet, and left the space spotless when they finished. Gonzalo walked us through our options and gave us great advice on how to approach painting the entire room — ceiling, trim, doors, and walls — all in the same color for a seamless look. The results exceeded our expectations, and the whole process was completely stress-free. We’ll absolutely be calling him again for future painting projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and a great experience.

We had Propaint do our garage over with an epoxy finish, the level of detail was absolutely incredible. The team that did the work were very professional and took the time to deliver an amazing end product! We have since used them for interior painting and once again over delivered on the finish product! Highly recommended

Hired Gonzalo and his team for interior and exterior painting because my usual painter was unavailable. I was nervous as I’ve dealt with bad painters in the past. They did an amazing job, the cut lines are perfect the team is super clean and professional and the work was done quickly without sacrificing quality. Would recommend 100% and really happy to have found a trustworthy painter for my future jobs. Thank you to your team!
