Pyramid Roofing is a Manchester, New Hampshire roofing company run by owner Shawn Schwotzer out of 324 Seames Drive, and it is one of the most heavily reviewed roofers in the state: 4.9 stars from 398 Google ratings, plus a syndicated 4.9 from 252 on Angi and HomeAdvisor, an A+ Better Business Bureau grade and BBB accreditation. Its Better Business Bureau file lists all phases of residential roofing plus siding, installed by GAF factory-trained crews. The track record is unusually deep and still very active - 25 reviews in the last six months alone, none of them negative. What customers describe over and over is speed: a July 2026 homeowner had a full replacement installed in one day, a June 2026 customer said a large crew finished a big roof in a single day, and a June 2026 reviewer's roof was done in one day even after the crew replaced plywood and re-flashed the chimney. The second constant is cleanup and property protection. An August 2026 customer said the team left the yard spotless, a June 2026 reviewer found no nails in the yard or the pool, and a July 2026 homeowner described the crew tarping shrubs, flowers, deck and deck furniture before starting. Price is the third: a June 2026 customer called the price incredibly reasonable, a November 2025 homeowner said Pyramid was the lowest quote for a bigger scope than the competition, and a 2023 Reddit commenter in a southern-New Hampshire roofer thread said Pyramid was the cheapest of his quotes and carried the longest warranty. The company's tenure shows up in its own reviews rather than a badge. A June 2026 customer had Shawn back for a small repair on a roof he installed more than 22 years earlier, a March 2026 customer returned after thirteen years for the garage, and an August 2024 reviewer described himself as a thirty-year customer. In a February 2020 review a homeowner said that nine years after installation, Shawn's crew re-shingled and re-vented a leaking area at no charge. What is worth asking about is the front end. In a May 2023 review a homeowner said an estimator visited, promised the owner would follow up, and no call came for two weeks despite a voicemail - the one substantive complaint in the record. Ask for a firm date for the written proposal, and confirm the scope in writing: several reviewers note that the quote included extra plywood or soffit venting, which is where roofing bids most often diverge. New Hampshire does not register roofing contractors, so there is no state licence to look up for this trade; ask for the certificate of insurance instead.
