Across Quality First Painting's Google, Thumbtack, and Angi reviews, one name keeps coming up: Arturo. Several reviewers from 2020 to 2024 credit him personally with the actual painting work. Based in Braintree, the company's own site describes it as a locally-owned residential and commercial painter offering interior, exterior, and cabinet painting. The specifics repeat across a long stretch of reviews. In 2024, one homeowner praised exterior work done on a Hingham home, citing attention to detail; another said the crew showed up on time, evaluated the job carefully, and quoted a fair price. In a 2023 review, a customer described Arturo spending over an hour walking through prep-to-finish work and repairing rotted wood as part of an exterior job, at what they called a reasonable price. Reviews reach back further, too: a 2020 Thumbtack review recalled Arturo completing an interior repaint of an old house on schedule, and Angi reviews from 2016 and 2017 — the earliest on file — describe the crew as easy to work with. Quality First Painting is a strong call for an interior or exterior repaint, including detail work like rotted wood repair. Ask whether Arturo will be on the job personally, and get the estimate and timeline in writing.
