R T Ford Plumbing & Co is a Dorchester plumbing business the Better Business Bureau traces back to 1976 — 50 years in business, though it isn't a BBB-accredited business and carries no BBB rating. The written customer history here is short but strongly positive: three reviews, all five stars, from 2022 and 2023. A 2022 review described the business as passed down father to son over decades, calling it one of the most reliable plumbers in Boston and praising both its honesty and its pricing. Another 2022 review described using the company across two different Quincy properties for faucet and sink installation, toilet repair, a clogged sink, and garbage disposal repair, with Brian named as the responsive technician each time. A 2023 review described the company as consistently on time, available for emergencies, and getting jobs done right the first time. With only three reviews on file, this isn't a deep written history, but it's a consistent one, and it lines up with a business that's been operating for half a century. Anyone in the Dorchester or Quincy area with routine plumbing repairs or fixture installations is who these reviews describe being served well.
I think Ford Plumbing is one of the last reliable local services one can find. These folks are always on time, always there in an emergency, are responsive and professional and most importantly, get the job done right the 1st time! I use them for all my plumbing needs and have been a loyal customer for about 10 years. I plan to be one for the next 20, God willing!
RT Ford Plumbing is the best plumbing company in Boston they are reliable they've been around for decades it's been brought down father to son you cannot beat their expertise nor their ability to be incredibly honest their prices are within range of what is excellent and their work is substantially fabulous with nice honest people you feel like they are your neighbor and you can trust them and they do know their business Cathy Hughes West Roxbury they've been with me for over 20 years
I've worked with Ford Plumbing several times at two different properties in Quincy: faucet & sink installation, toilet repair, clogged sink, and garbage disposal repair. The office is quick to respond, and Brian has been great to work with each time. I appreciate the time he takes to explain problems and options for fixes. They are honest, reliable, and reasonably priced.
