Carmel Movers is a Massachusetts moving company with offices in Boston and Framingham, and its site describes it as women-owned, family-owned and locally owned. Its Women Business Enterprise certification with the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office is active. On Google it shows 5★ from 460 ratings. Three customers describe coming back: an August 2026 customer said it was their second time using Carmel, a move manager wrote that same month of using it at least 15 times, and a July 2025 customer had hired it twice for an elderly relative's move with a third scheduled. An August 2026 customer said Ivan Szewczyk, the Customer Service Manager, gave an accurate estimate of the price, time and number of movers needed, and that there were no additional or surprise charges at the end of the move. A July 2026 customer thanked the crew for help disposing of a piano they did not take with them. Another July 2026 customer, who had been in a senior citizens home, said nothing got damaged and everything was wrapped and protected. An August 2026 customer said some items were not loaded onto the truck because of a miscommunication, and that the front office rectified it with a fair solution. In a July 2024 Google review, a customer said a box with their silver and a few other dining room items went missing, that repeated emails got no response, and that the company's insurance company told them the policy does not cover damaged or lost items. Angi reviews from 2008 to 2010 complained of broken items, missing items and overcharging.
“I've used Carmel Movers repeatedly and they've always been awesome”
“I am awaiting my items from Carmel Movers in Boston... I have found a long list of complaints against them... estimate of July 18th now... will need to make two stops in North Carolina and Jacksonville.”
Carmel Movers has become my go-to for my in-state moves! They are kind and efficient, and took great care of my stuff.
I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Carmel Movers. From the moment of the first phone call, to the in home survey, and then to the phenomenal moving team out of our prior home and into our new home it was a tremendous experience. This is a first class organization and one that I highly recommend. Two entire truck loads and not one thing damaged. Thank you Carmel Movers!
This was my second time using Carmel Movers, and once again they did an amazing job! The move went super smoothly, and the guys were professional, friendly, and very careful with everything. Highly recommend them!
Carmel movers were great! From booking to rescheduling, to the moving day, everything went smoothly! The movers were fast and respectful. Ended up taking less time than the estimated so it was great I could save some money there! Recommend 100%!
We used Carmel Movers recently for a move and the movers were exceptional. They handled our items with care and were very efficient. Not a single item was broken, including kitchen items which they packed for us. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication issue, some items were not loaded onto the truck, but the front office was able to rectify this and provide a fair solution. We plan to use Carmel Movers again and recommend them!
