Rainbow Painting Pro LLC

Rainbow Painting Pro, run by owner Danilo out of Medford, has built its name on interior work that goes beyond just rolling paint: in a 2023 review, a customer said the crew stripped a condo's wallpaper — including a layer the customer had personally painted over more than a decade earlier — skim-coated the walls to smooth them out, and repainted from there. In a 2024 review, a customer in an older home said Danny was meticulous about matching new patchwork to the house's existing wall imperfections rather than papering over them. The company uses only its own in-house crew, never subcontractors, and covers interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, deck staining and power washing across Medford, Cambridge, Somerville and Arlington; it says it's EPA Lead-Safe Certified and holds a BBB A+ rating. It holds a 4.9-star average on both Google (95 ratings) and Thumbtack (113 ratings). Cabinet refinishing shows up constantly in the reviews — kitchen cabinets described as looking 'brand new' again after years of wear — and reviewers across 2023 through 2026 keep coming back to Danny and his team for repeat projects. In a 2023 review, a customer said Danny helped connect them with other tradespeople while his crew handled a full apartment repaint alongside widening some closets. Two older reviews describe real problems worth knowing about: in a 2023 review, a customer said Dan never sent the estimate he promised after an in-home consultation for painting water-damaged kitchen cabinets, and in a 2021 review, a customer said a four-day painting job left dirty floors, trash and an unsanitary bathroom each day, with paint splatter they couldn't remove and trim work that was skipped despite being part of the job. Rainbow is a strong choice for a detailed interior repaint or cabinet refresh given how consistently recent reviewers describe careful prep and finish work; given the two complaints above, get a written estimate and a clear scope — including trim — before the crew starts.
