Raphael Painting Home Improvement

Raphael Painting Home Improvement is a one-name operation in the truest sense: every review on file addresses Rafael Laurencio directly, and the company says he's been doing this work in the Newton, MA area since 2004. The company describes itself as a painting, carpentry and home-improvement outfit serving Newton and a wide ring of nearby towns, from Cambridge and Somerville to Framingham and Quincy. By its own account it's now in its 20th year. On Google, its three reviews, all from 2025, are five-star, and a couple of specifics stand out. In a 2025 review, a homeowner described Rafael as taking great care with every detail on a full house painting job, from surface preparation through the final coat. In another from the same year, a customer credited him with staying fair and honest through a top-floor remodel even when unexpected issues came up. BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration for the company (#214905, owned by Rafael Laurencio) — that's the directory's own claim rather than something confirmed against the state board here, so it's worth checking directly before signing anything. With just three reviews on record, there isn't a long paper trail yet, but what's there is consistent: hands-on attention to finish work and steady communication when a job hits a snag. A reasonable call for a Newton-area painting or small remodeling job, with the license worth a quick double-check first.
