Two hundred and ten jobs booked, one man doing all of them, and a run of recent customers describing the same thing: he showed up, worked out what the job actually needed, and finished it that day. RatzPro is Alex Ratz, working out of Manchester, New Hampshire and — by his own account — taking work across New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He says he has been in construction and interior finishing since 2016, which lines up with the ten years his page claims, and the work he describes spans remodeling, tile, carpentry, drywall, plumbing-fixture swaps and general repairs. He is the whole company. The recent jobs are a fair picture of the range. One customer this spring had mini-split wires running down the outside of the house: he pulled the old wood, put up new siding and painted it to match. Another had him hang closet doors — he assessed it, went to the hardware store for supplies, came back and finished. A third had a touchless kitchen faucet installed and thought the price was the best she'd found. In December a light post came down and he was there inside twelve hours. One customer in March had him unpick a problem another contractor had left behind. What that adds up to is a repair-and-small-project operation rather than a full remodeling crew, and the jobs people write about are mostly the two-hour kind. Two caveats. The 4.9 rests on 149 Thumbtack ratings and nothing else — no second platform corroborates it, and the star bar shows roughly 2% one-star and 1% three-star ratings whose text is not shown anywhere on the page. And he is a one-person business based over the state line, so ask about travel and scheduling if your house is well into Massachusetts. A sensible call for repairs, door and siding work, fixture installs and the jobs a bigger outfit won't schedule. Get the estimate in writing — he says he always provides one before starting, and bills materials separately.

Alex was fantastic to work with. He helped us cover up mini split wires on the exterior of our home, removed the existing wood, installed new siding, and painted everything to match perfectly. The finished product looks great and blends seamlessly with the rest of the house. Alex was professional, reliable, and paid attention to the details throughout the project. His workmanship was excellent, he communicated clearly, and he left everything clean when the job was done. We couldn't be happier with the results and would definitely hire him again for future projects. Highly recommend!
