Rayco Mechanical Services is a Peabody HVAC contractor holding a Massachusetts HVAC license that's active on the state registry, under license holder Radames Colon. BuildZoom's permit record shows 54 residential jobs across Rowley, Lexington, Newbury, Somerville, Salisbury and Peabody — mostly furnace and heat-pump installs with new ductwork, typically around $30,000 — putting it in the top 4% of Massachusetts contractors by permit volume. The written reviews span 2012 through 2024 and are consistently detailed and positive. A 2024 review described a $7,500 central AC compressor and air-handler replacement done as contracted, on time, and at a good price. A 2020 review described a $35,000 heating-system overhaul in an 1890s home that kept the house's original charm while solving the owner's worry about staying warm through a Massachusetts winter. Older reviews from 2012 and 2017 describe a second-zone AC install, a boiler service, and a crew that left the work area cleaner than they found it. Given how much of that record dates from 2012-2017, it's worth confirming current pricing and scheduling directly, especially for a larger install.
