RC Works is Andrey's crew out of Medford, and the work people describe is the messy middle of a house: basements dug out and finished, steps rebuilt, a backyard turned into a deck and fence. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The written record runs 2023 to 2024 — nine reviews across Houzz, Angi and HomeAdvisor, all five stars, and none since. What's in them is consistent. In a June 2024 Houzz review a homeowner wrote that the crew showed up on time, finished on time and left everything clean, and that Andrey flagged other repairs the house needed without pitching them. A September 2023 client had looked far and wide for someone willing to build the deck and fence they had in mind; the part they singled out was Andrey dealing with the City of Boston on permits. In February 2023 an Angi customer with an older home cited the timely estimate and competitive pricing. The most useful review is the least glowing one. In December 2023 a client who called themselves picky about materials and design said there were "a few snags along the way" on a complex job, and credited the crew with reacting quickly and pricing the solutions fairly. That's the honest shape of a custom build — worth asking how change orders get priced before work starts. The credential list on Houzz is long: De-Lead, OSHA 40, hoisting, minority-owner supplier diversity, COMMBUYS. Those are the profile's own claims, as is the CS-111274 construction supervisor number it prints. Note too that Houzz advertises a wide catalogue — ADUs, new construction, additions, tile, framing, flooring — while Angi and HomeAdvisor list only decks, home remodels, home repairs and painting, and HomeAdvisor's five reviews are the same five Angi ones. Worth a call for a basement, an addition or an outdoor build in the Medford-Somerville-Boston ring, especially where permits are the hard part. Ask what he's been building lately: nothing has been written about the work since mid-2024.
