Real Tree Woodworking describes itself as a custom, build-to-order wood shop making cabinetry, furniture, doors and architectural trim work for residential and commercial customers, and its website says it has been in business 14 years. An article on vermontwood.com describes Jon Deerfield as running Real Tree Woodworking as a built-to-order cabinet and furniture shop. A 2017 Houzz reviewer said Jonathon turned their basement into a play space, building extensive cabinets, an entertainment center and a custom-design cantilevered 3-stall desk for their kids. A 2016 Houzz reviewer said John walked them through the design/build process and customized built-ins that fit their home. A 2016 reviewer said they had hired Jon on several projects and that he was their go-to person for fine carpentry and woodwork. A 2023 Google reviewer called Jon an artist.
“Of course, it’s a gross simplification of what goes on in Deerfield’s 3500-square-foot operation in Duxbury.”
“Big Benefit to Working with a Small Company Jon Deerfield runs a built to order cabinet and furniture shop called Real Tree Woodworking in East Calais, VT, with a move to a larger space in Duxbury, VT due in February of 2021. In business for more than 12 years, Deerfield focuses on building custom cabinetry, kitchen needs, bathroom vanities, built ins, furniture and custom sized wooden doors for interior and exterior use. “Most of my work is residentially based, with some commercial jobs as well,” said Deerfield. “It comes mostly from word of mouth through other builders. I’m friends with a lo”
Jon is an artist, the quality of workmanship is beyond comparison.
Their work is amazing. Artisan craftsmanship.
Superb in all aspects. We have worked with Jonathon from Real Tree on two home improvement projects. Both turned out wonderfully. HE has great design ideas and was able to really transform our basement into a wonderful play space. HE buit extensive cabinets, an entertainment center and a custom design cantilevered 3 stall desk for our kids. We recommend him highly and without reservations.
I've hired Jon to work with me on several projects. He does top notch work and is always my go-to person of choice for fine carpentry and woodwork.
Working with Real Tree was an amazing experience. John walked us through the design/build process and customized some built ins that fit perfectly in our home and reflect our personalities. Couldn't recommend Real Tree enough.
