RECORP Construction Company LLC is Riel Arcoite, one man out of Lowell who says he has spent 26 years doing construction, contracting and handyman work. The job list is deliberately broad: general repairs, construction work, junk removal, and snow plowing when the season turns. His Thumbtack rating is a clean sweep — 5.0 across 16 ratings, every one of them five stars, with 14 hires and 114 project photos behind it. The written accounts customers left are dated, though; the detailed ones belong to an earlier stretch of the business, and the more recent activity is lighter on description. Everything known about the company comes from that one platform. Two things matter before you call. His page currently says he is not available for work, so availability is the first question, not the last. And no licence or registration number appears anywhere on it — he states he is fully insured, but that is his own claim, and construction work in Massachusetts is where registration matters most. For a clear-out, a snow contract or a straightforward repair from someone who has been at it a long time, he is worth a call. Confirm he is taking jobs, ask what he is registered and insured to do, and get the insurance certificate from the insurer rather than from him.

What a Godsend! I reached out to Riel for help repairing a mess left by another contractor. I not only got an immediate response, but was able to schedule the work within a few days... and it was affordable! I was SO pleased with the work that they did (quality, on budget, on time) that they're coming back to do a number of other projects (roof, fence, door replacement, etc.) that I had scheduled with other contractors. Once you work with Riel and his team, you won't need to go anywhere else. Details: 2 - 5 hours (A few different projects) • Painting • Repairs • Bedroom • Molding or baseboards • Walls (inside) • Home — Handyman (Hired on Thumbtack)

Hard to choose only three highlights! Riel was fast in replying, and quick to set up a day and time to come fix my home issue. He made arrangements convenient to my schedule and gave me a heads up prior to his arrival/arrived when expected and brought everything he'd need which I did not have. There was a massive birds nest which needed removing, and exterior roof opening closed up; he knew exactly what everything was and how to handle it carefully / appropriately in order not to damage as well as no birds were harmed! He worked efficiently and safely, and cleaned up afterward. I would highly recommend Riel as someone you can trust to do good work and is reliable. I have definitely added him in my phone for future calls when needed. Details: Less than 2 hours (Simple tasks) • Repairs • Walls (outside) • Home — Handyman (Hired on Thumbtack)

What does handyman work cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Recorp Construction Company LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.
Estimated range

Typical handyman visit around $540
