Read enough of 5C Energy's reviews and you start recognizing the crews by name. Henry, Nery, Jared, Keith, Aaron, Kenny — homeowners keep naming the lead and the two or three people with him, which is not how people write about a company they merely tolerated. Across 127 Google ratings averaging 4.9, and 116 written reviews since 2021 spread over four sources, the same three things repeat: the crew arrives when it said it would, the job runs faster than quoted, and the house is clean when they leave. The work is weatherization. Attic and basement insulation, sill sealing, closed-cell spray foam, ridge vents, and bath fans and dryer exhausts run out through the roof. Much of it arrives through Mass Save and RISE: homeowners describe being referred after an energy audit, and one wrote in February 2026 that the job was on the calendar within a week of the assessment. Speed is the number that keeps coming up. A homeowner in July 2026 described a crew insulating a house attic to basement in a single day. In September 2025 another wrote that two people did a four-person job across two ten-hour days on a 90-year-old house and left it looking untouched. In a January 2026 review, a customer noted the crew still arrived on time despite a two-hour drive to reach them. The office side gets named too — scheduling handled by Sue and Mary Ann, and Kyle walking people through the RISE paperwork and timelines. The one account that runs the other way is worth reading. In March 2024 a homeowner referred by RISE — sent there after an assessment traced freezing pipes to an uninsulated wall — wrote that the job had not gone well, starting with a missed appointment day the company apologized for and rescheduled. Nothing in the last six months looks like that; of 15 reviews in that window, none are negative. But it is the right thing to pin down when you book: what happens if the crew doesn't arrive, and who calls you. If you have come out of a Mass Save or RISE audit holding an insulation scope, this is a company with a long and consistent history of exactly that job. Confirm the crew lead and the date, clear the areas they ask you to clear before the day, and ask what they will do about attic venting while they are up there.

I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had with 5CEnergy. Neri and his team were very respectful of my home, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire installation process. I had three things done through the MassSave program - attic insulation, an exhaust pipe routed through the roof, and door stripping/sweeps added to two doors. I felt extremely confident in the work because of the excellent communication; Neri came to get me a few times to show me the progress and gave me options on how I wanted the work to be done. For such a messy job like insulation, my house was spotless when they left. I would absolutely use 5CEnergy again, as well as recommend them to a friend. Please thank Neri and his team for me!
