River Valley Chimney

River Valley Chimney works on wood stoves, liners and chimneys. A 2025 customer said Dave installed their Ideal Steel stove, was particular with the fit of the stove pipe, and afterward gave them detailed information about using the stove. That 2025 customer called the price very reasonable. In a separate 2025 review, a customer said Dave installed a liner and hooked their stove up. In a 2024 review, a customer said Woodstock Soapstone recommended River Valley Chimney when a bent, stuck bolt on the combustor's heat shield kept them from servicing their year-old stove. That 2024 customer said Dave Paul showed up on time, figured out the problem, fixed it along with a few more, checked the chimney, and gave a hands-on lesson in combustor cleaning. A 2024 customer said River Valley Chimney helped figure out why their stove was smoking, that spots they didn't know about needed cleaning, and that after the cleaning the stove had been running 110% better. A 2023 customer said Dave and his assistant fixed a leak near the chimney and told them no sweep was needed because the chimney was still clean from the year before. A 2023 customer with an old house said Dave gave a fair price for repairs to an old chimney, was on time and was done on the schedule they set. A recent customer had a quote on a new wood stove and chimney installation and said that when they tried to hire him, he refused to respond to text messages.
