Runtal North America isn't a crew you call out for a service visit — it's a radiator factory. The company makes and sells hydronic, electric and steam radiators, along with towel radiators, for homes and commercial buildings, and it does it from a plant and showroom in Ward Hill, Haverhill. By its own account, the Runtal brand invented the flat-panel steel radiator in 1953, and Swiss parent Zehnder Group AG opened the Massachusetts factory more than 30 years ago; the company reports roughly 30 years in business here, and the BBB lists 46 years on file. It's a member of the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Its Google page sits at 3.8 across 36 ratings, and the split behind that number tells you more than the average does. Praise goes to the product — the most recent review credits the build quality and the design of the panels for both homes and commercial spaces. The complaints go somewhere else entirely: order fulfillment. The pattern in the low-star reviews is lead times running well past the window buyers were quoted, long enough to stall a project that was counting on them. Customer-service tone comes up in that group too. The Better Business Bureau grades the company B-, non-accredited, and ties the grade to a failure to respond to one complaint on file. One complaint against a business this old is not a pattern; leaving it unanswered is what pulls the letter down. Older reviews also raise operating cost and noise on the electric line, which is worth weighing separately from the hydronic products. So: a reasonable place to start if you want a design-forward panel radiator and you're specifying early enough to absorb a wait — the showroom is open to visitors and the hardware itself draws steady praise. Before you order, get a ship date confirmed by a person rather than from the website, and if you're going electric, ask what it actually costs to run in a room your size.

Runtal North America is an outstanding example of quality manufacturing and innovation. Their radiant heating products combine exceptional performance with beautiful design, making them a great choice for both residential and commercial spaces. It's clear they take pride in engineering products that are built to last and deliver outstanding comfort. It's also great to see a company with deep roots in the Haverhill community producing products that are recognized across North America. Their commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction really stands out. Highly recommend!

Don't believe their website or sales staff about shipping timelines once you order. "2 weeks, maybe less if you order Runtal white" really means "maybe this will be shipped to you in 2 months or more (plus add a couple weeks for it to get to you), even if you order the Runtal White color". Hopefully I will get some heat into my house before it's covered in snow and ice.

I Placed an order August 12th online and it was advertised as a two week wait period before shipping. I called in mid September to ask for an update and they said the website is incorrect and it takes 4-6 weeks for an order. I just called and they have an estimated ship date of October 17th. Very dissatisfied this is putting a halt to my entire project and my customers are not happy to hear that its now an even longer wait for completion.
