Highlights
- Cabinet refinishing — one detailed homeowner account describes the full process
- Project punctuality — the 2019 customer said Russell arrived as promised
Cabinet finishing is the clearest reason to call Russell Architectural Finishing. The Gloucester business is listed under house painting, and the most detailed customer account describes work on 25-year-old kitchen cabinets rather than a routine wall-painting job. In a 2019 Google review, a homeowner said Scott Russell sanded, repaired, and painted the cabinets, refinished the island, and rehung everything after the trim was painted. The customer called the price reasonable, said Russell arrived when promised, and felt the cabinets looked better than when they were new. Google now shows 5 stars from two ratings, but the written customer history is dated and limited to that one 2019 account. A cabinetry company's undated project page also credits Russell Architectural Finishing with a clear-coat finish. For an older-cabinet project, confirm which parts of the process the company will handle—repairs, sanding, painting or clear coating, and reinstallation—and get that scope in the estimate before booking.

Scott Russell recently completed sanding, repairing and painting our kitchen cabinets which are 25 years old. We sent some pictures of the cabinets to Scott and he came over with an estimate. The price was reasonable. Within that week his painter was over to paint all the cabinet trim after the cabinets and drawers were removed. We also had our island sanded and restained. This past weekend our cabinets were rehung! They look better than when they were new 25 years ago. Scott came over when he said he would and was always on time and very pleasant to work with. We highly recommend him.
