Russo's Kitchens & Millwork is a cabinet shop, not a remodeling contractor — it designs, builds and finishes kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities and built-in millwork at 107 Forest Street in Middleton, and installs what it makes. The company puts its tenure at over 30 years; BBB's file lists a 1986 start date, 40 years in business, six employees and John S. Russo as president. John Russo's own name is what the written reviews are about. A December 2025 customer rebuilding after water damage drove to the workshop on a Saturday morning; he came by two days later, measured, and quoted, and they said he stayed responsive through a job that involved several other companies doing demolition and mitigation first. A January 2026 customer who commissioned vanities, a wet bar, a pantry and a kitchen called the cabinets some of the nicest they had used, and added a practical caveat: on custom work, having style and colour selections settled up front is what keeps the process smooth. In a September 2024 review, a homeowner who arrived with Pinterest images of white oak with black and white cabinets said he read the brief exactly. Here is what does not line up. Google's average is 4.1 across 8 ratings, but only three of those ratings carry any text, and all three are five stars — so the ratings without words are pulling the number down, and nobody has written why. That is the single biggest unknown about this shop, and three positive accounts cannot answer it. BBB grades the business A+ and separately records that it is not BBB Accredited; the two are different things, and the grade is about BBB's own file, not about customers. The work also appears in trade company: New Hampshire Home Magazine credited Russo's for the cabinetry in an August 2025 kitchen feature. If you want cabinets and millwork built to your drawings, this is a shop with decades behind it and customers who describe the owner doing the measuring himself. Go in with your finishes decided, ask to see current work in the shop, and remember you will still need a general contractor for the plumbing, electrical and tile around them.

We had the opportunity to work with Russo’s Kitchen & Millwork on custom vanities, a wet bar, pantry, and kitchen—an extensive project. The quality is exceptional and truly high-end; some of the nicest cabinets and vanities I’ve had the pleasure of using. As with any custom work, having a clear vision up front—especially around style and color selections—helps keep planning efficient and communication smooth throughout the process. When expectations are well defined, the experience is seamless and the end result is a beautiful, long-lasting space. We were very fortunate to work with this team and would highly recommend them. I will also share that their installation team was excellent, responsive, and provided excellent suggestions as we worked on the install. Overall a great experience.
Russo’s Kitchen. Our kitchen renovation was not fun due to water damage. The process was lengthy because it involved multiple companies performing various tasks, such as demolition and mitigation, before any restoration could begin. We were fortunate that John Russo’s Kitchen was close by and actually installed our kitchen cabinets, which we loved. We literally drove to his workshop on a Saturday morning and explained the situation with our kitchen. He came by two days later, took measurements, and provided a quote. From start to finish, John was very responsive, listened to our needs, and provided advice and feedback where needed. His team members were very polite and respectful of our home.
Our new kitchen is a true work of art!!! We’re absolutely in love! John did bring our vision to life 110% I had picked all these beautiful pics from Pinterest and we wanted a mix of white oak, black and white cabinets and John understood perfectly what we wanted. We’re going back to John for sure for any future plans to make any updates around the house!
