LHR Plumbing Heating Cooling and Electric describes itself on its website as a plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical contractor in Manchester, NH, serving southern New Hampshire. The site says it was founded by Angel Acevedo, whom it describes as a master plumber and gas fitter. Its New Hampshire plumber and HVAC licences, number MBE1600893, are active on the state registry, held by LHR Plumbing and Heating, LLC. A recent customer credited Angel, Alicia, Mary, Chip and the LHR team with restoring their hot water after a boiler broke down, and said Chip stayed late and traveled to get the part they needed. A recent customer said Angel helped diagnose the continual faulting of a hybrid water heater, with a new heater under warranty on the way. A recent customer said their electrical work was smart, fast and the right price. A Reddit commenter in r/newhampshire said they had used LHR several times, calling it "not real cheap" and "very good work." A 2026 customer said LHR's price was lower by almost half than a competitor's quote and that ten new smoke detectors were rewired and installed the same day. A 2026 customer described a job that replaced two shower valves, put in a bigger well pump, changed a tankless heater to an electric tank and added a sediment filter, all finished in one day. A 2026 customer said LHR quoted $1,400 to fix a small basement leak and replace about 2 feet of copper pipe, while another plumber said he could do it for $400. A 2024 customer called a $553 charge for replacing a shower drop ear, shower arm and 6 inches of copper pipe very expensive. A 2023 customer said LHR quoted $6,000 to replace an indirect water heater, while another company replaced everything for $2,500. A 2026 customer said tub caulking was not done neatly, then later wrote that LHR followed through on a promise to redo it.
“I have used LHR several times now. Good, not real cheap. High end of reasonable and very good work.”
“I’ve used both LHR and AJ Leblanc for separate issues. All tradesman were respectful of my home.”
Extremely professional, efficient and worth every cent.
Great service from my initial call to when the technician came out and fixed my problem. Mary, Alicia, Angel & Aiden were excellent to work with and I really appreciate all of them!! Highly recommend them to anyone I know!
Great Team. They were very helpful and got to my home quickly. I truly appreciate them explaining everything they did. I recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.
We are so grateful to Angel, Alicia, Mary, Chip and the entire LHR team who went above and beyond to get our hot water fixed after our boiler decided to break down at an extremely inconvenient time for our family, when access to a shower after treatment was medically necessary. The LHR team was responsive, compassionate, and understanding, moving mountains to troubleshoot and repair the boiler, all while keeping in constant communication with us to make sure we understood the repairs, cost, and possible scenarios every step of the way. From Mary and Alicia’s kindness and compassion to helping coordinate the team and finding parts, to Chip staying late and traveling to get the part that we needed, to Angel rearranging his schedule to arrive to our house first thing the following morning, determined to fix the issue, we are so so grateful for Herculean effort made to fix the boiler and restore our hot water. The compassion, empathy, dedication, and true honest and reliable service is hard to find these days, and this team lives up to their name. I would recommend them to anyone for any plumbing, heating, or electrical needs and they have earned a repeat customer. Thank you, thank you to Angel and the LHR team. We are so grateful.
My husband was very please with the two young men that came out to our house to discuss removing and later reinstalling some of our probably 100 year old radiators which we plan to have sandblasted and repainted. They went above and beyond in the removal process because those pieces are heavier than one would imagine.
