S.H. Dunford Construction and Excavation

S.H. Dunford Construction and Excavation describes itself as a locally owned Cape Cod business, owned and operated by native Cape Codder Sam Dunford and in business since 2012. In its own words, its work runs from septic systems and excavation to landscape construction and hardscapes. In a 2022 review, Sam was described as patient while the scope of the project was considered, steering the customer away from adding unnecessary scope, and as meticulous in his work and clean up. A 2019 review described a project installing a canvas garage that had several design flaws; Sam was able to make all adjustments, and landscape timbers were installed properly. Another 2019 review said Sam kept in touch and even sent pictures. In a 2018 review, they took a fifty foot pine tree down and did a great job of clean up at a reasonable price. A separate 2018 review said Sam was not the lowest or the highest of several estimates, and that he offered advice on improvements that would not necessarily involve business for himself.
