A July 2024 customer described three mini-splits installed in March, followed by a warranty repair that took 15 minutes: a disconnected hose had allowed water to leak onto the front porch. Sam’s HVAC replaced the hose and connection. The Worcester business handles heating and cooling work, with customers also describing faucet repairs, frozen pipes and water-heater problems. Google gives it 4.8 stars from 88 ratings. A July 2026 customer in Holden said Sam walked them through each step so they understood what was happening and why. In December 2025, another customer described oil-boiler cleaning and replacement of a hot-water heating element, praising his explanations and prompt text replies. An August 2025 reviewer said Sam diagnosed and explained repairs to ventilation, several thermostats and an outdoor hose connection. A separate August 2025 customer described a new dryer vent, from the estimate and explanation through the completed work. Installations and repairs sometimes involved other workers or return visits. In a June 2022 review, a customer said Tim and his crew installed ductless mini-splits the customer had purchased, discussed placement and worked neatly. Sam referred the electrical portion to an electrician. The customer also said the crew found a part that Home Depot had lost in its warehouse and sold the replacement to them at cost. A December 2022 reviewer described having heat restored for the night, followed by several return visits for a complicated repair, along with duct cleaning. Older customers described quick responses without making every call the same story. A July 2023 reviewer said the worker arrived within an hour, inspected the air conditioner and added coolant. In November 2023, a customer unfamiliar with a zone-control system said Sam returned the call, explained the system and fixed the issue quickly. A January 2024 reviewer said Sam repaired a no-heat problem within 20 minutes and waived payment after hearing about the customer’s experience with another company. BBB gives Sam’s HVAC, LLC an A+ grade without accreditation and lists three licence numbers. Those are BBB’s licence claims. An undated BBB reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with the company’s work.
