Scaramuzzo Building & Remodeling

Scaramuzzo Building & Remodeling is a general contractor and remodeler based in Franklin, MA. Directory profiles describe a broad range of work — additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, basement remodeling and new home construction on Houzz, plus decks, roofing, siding, exterior painting and window work on Angi and HomeAdvisor. The company describes itself as family-owned on Houzz and BuildZoom, and as veteran-owned with about 10 years of experience on HomeAdvisor and Angi. Worth checking before hiring: the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, HIC 184698, is listed as expired by the state registry, even though one directory still shows it as active. Houzz and BuildZoom also list a construction supervisor license, CS-109453, for the company, though that number hasn't been checked against the state registry. Ask directly about the lapsed HIC registration, and confirm current licensing and insurance before signing anything.
