Scott Energy

Scott Energy delivers heating oil, and a 2024 customer told a holiday story about it: that customer, who said they had used the company since moving to Moodus in 2015, ran out of oil one Christmas Eve afternoon, and Scott Energy arrived right on time for their guests. A 2026 customer wrote that they were almost out of oil and the company delivered the very next day. A 2025 customer said the owner gave down-to-earth guidance on how to optimize oil usage, was flexible on delivery, and waited to raise his prices even when his own costs went up. A 2025 reviewer described deliveries as always on time and the staff as friendly and knowledgeable. A 2023 reviewer said Scott Energy had supplied oil to their business since day one. Price is where one family parted ways. In a 2025 two-star review, a customer wrote that their parents had used the company for a few years and found the people nice to deal with, but switched suppliers after finding cheaper oil by calling out of town.
