Excellent Experience with Central AC Installation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We recently hired Spicer Gas to install a new central air conditioning unit in our home, and they did a fantastic job. From start to finish, their customer service was great—the team was incredibly helpful and responsive. The technicians were professional and their work was exceptionally neat. They listened carefully to our needs and did absolutely everything we had asked them to do. It is rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise with such attention to detail. We highly recommend Spicer Gas for any home HVAC needs!

Asked for an on-site quote for ventless propane stove for sunroom. Salesman came and asked ME where WE wanted to put the tank.we are not the experts. Kept talking about vented stove but we wanted ventless because we didn't want to see the vent pipes. We Had ventless stoves in two previous homes and were comfortable with them but salesman inferred it was because of budget restraints which was insulting. Have Waited now for 3 weeks for quote, never received. Other company gave us a quote in 3 days. Would not recommend Spicer company, I guess job too small for them.

Now that the work is done, I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Spicer! We made the switch from oil to propane with a heat pump and central AC, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The Spicer team removed our oil tank, furnace, old ductwork, registers, and returns. They took the time to evaluate our home, explain our options, and determine what needed to be changed to make the new system work efficiently. They installed new insulated ductwork, enlarged register openings, added returns, and continually assessed the house throughout the project to make sure everything was done right. Most importantly, they included Owen every step of the way. They were incredibly patient with him, answered his questions, especially the "Whats your name", "what are you doing" 50 times a day. After two weeks in our home, they felt like part of the family. Now, almost a month later, we're loving having both heat and AC, depending on what Mother Nature decides to give us here in New England! We truly cannot say enough good things about Ryan Knopf, Scott, Dave, and the entire Spicer team. Their professionalism, workmanship, communication, and kindness exceeded every expectation. If you're considering a new furnace, heat pump, AC system, propane conversion, or any HVAC work, I highly recommend reaching out to Spicer. No matter the age of your house (ours was built in 1742). Thank you for making this such a positive experience for our family!

Signed up last month (Feb 26) when Superior Osterman essentially just stopped delivering and was not answering any calls for any of their customers. . Spicer was AWESOME and signed me up, got me delivered with new tanks same day. Nice people and actually seemed to care about me as a customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. We called for a delivery when our tank was at 30% and were never told there was any extended delivery window or delay. Two days passed with no delivery or communication. When the tank dropped to 10%, I called again to check status — and only then was I suddenly told there is an “up to 7 business day” delivery window. This was NEVER disclosed when the initial order was placed. Had we known this, we would have planned differently or contacted another provider.(in which I was immediately corrected as “ well you can’t use anyone else that’s our tank.” By business day 5 we were completely out of propane. I called again and was told we were now on an “out list” and someone should arrive ASAP. Business day 6 arrived with still no delivery. I called first thing in the morning, was told someone would call me back after a meeting, hours went by with no response, and after calling back myself, I was told again that nobody could come out that day. Every interaction resulted in the same vague “next day” or “ASAP” response, but no follow-through and no proactive communication. Running out of propane, especially during winter, is unacceptable, but what made this worse was the complete lack of transparency about delivery timelines and expectations. If you have the option to work with a more responsive and honest propane company, I strongly recommend doing so.
