Scotti Electric, working out of Danvers, is the electrician homeowners keep naming for showing up exactly when they say they will — several recent reviews describe arriving within, or even ahead of, a tight appointment window. The company's reviews describe a mix of everyday residential electrical work — ceiling fixtures, outlets, microwave installs — alongside occasional bigger jobs like panel upgrades and EV chargers. Steve, sometimes recorded as Stephen, is the technician most reviewers name directly, and the pattern across recent Google reviews is consistent: he explains what he's doing before he does it and finishes cleanly. One April 2026 review describes a promised 9-10am window with the technician showing up at 8:40 instead. A June 2026 review describes a Tesla Level 2 charger install that went smoothly enough to satisfy the town inspector. The bigger jobs show up further back in the record: in a 2024 review, a customer described a full 200-amp electrical service and panel upgrade with new wiring and outlets for a home renovation, and in another 2024 review, a panel job turned into an emergency when the power company wouldn't reconnect the meter afterward — Scotti Electric came back and worked directly with the inspector to resolve it. In a 2023 review, a customer described having recessed lighting installed in two rooms and ceiling fans with lights put in two others, calling the two-person crew efficient and clean. Repeat business shows up too — in a 2025 review, one customer mentioned having used the company four times, each visit handled well. On Google, the company holds a 5★ average from 140 ratings, and its six Angi ratings average 5.0★ as well; the written record here doesn't turn up a specific complaint to flag. Scotti Electric looks like a solid call for routine residential electrical work and for bigger jobs like panel upgrades or EV charger installs, given how consistently reviewers describe that kind of work getting done on schedule.

Great company to work with! Highly recommend. They knew exactly what I wanted for my Tesla Charger install. Scheduling and everything went smoothly and the Town Inspector was happy.
Steve provided excellent service replacing our microwave: - protecting the counter top and range below - removing and hauling away the old microwave - installing the new one - testing it to ensure it was working correctly Thanks to a cancellation, he was able to arrive early and complete the installation in under 30 minutes. Very impressive!

Stephen was excellent. He was here all day (and came on time) because we had so much work done and he was professional, polite, and efficient. I’ll definitely request him the next time we need an electrician!
