Sculptured Earth is a Charlestown landscape-construction and masonry company that says it has served New England since 2001. Its work centers on stone, pavers, concrete, retaining walls, patios, driveways, and related site construction, with projects ranging from $15,000 to $1,000,000 listed on Houzz. The written customer accounts are dated, but detailed. In 2017, one customer valued Patrick's willingness to create a non-cookie-cutter project; in 2015, another described a backyard makeover that grew from front-stair replacement into coordinated hardscaping and planting with a landscape architect. That homeowner praised the team's troubleshooting, finish, cleanup, and handling of changes, and called the price fair. Houzz shows 5/5 from two reviews and three projects, while Procore places the company at its Charlestown address. The right questions are practical: confirm the exact scope, materials, schedule, and change-order terms for a large outdoor build, and ask how masonry and landscape work will be coordinated. Sculptured Earth fits homeowners planning substantial patios, walls, walkways, driveways, or landscape-construction projects who want a design-and-build team; request a current proposal and references for comparable work before booking.

Sculptured Earth did a complete post construction make-over of our west-of-Boston backyard. We were thoroughly pleased with the results, but more than that it was a pleasure to work with Patrick and his skilled team. Originally hired to replace our front stairs, a smaller project, Patrick worked seamlessly with our landscape architect and the very engaged and opinionated client (me) once we expanded the project. The SE team are very knowledgable, dependable, and good natured. No problem or change phased them- in fact they seemed to enjoy trouble shooting and problem solving, and when confronted with obstacles they always made imaginative and helpful suggestions. The prep and installation were done efficiently - hardscaping and planting were both done with a keen eye towards balance and harmony. Finish and clean-up excellent. The price was fair and changes were handled professionally. We are very happy to recommend SE for landscape installation- they are a committed and intelligent team.
