Self Maid Cleaning Services

Self Maid Cleaning Services is a Waltham, Massachusetts residential and commercial cleaning company owner-operated by Lucimar Barroso, who the site says has worked in the cleaning industry since 2014 and built the company under a name she calls a play on 'self-made.' It holds 5 stars from 18 Google ratings, and reviewers use her first name almost interchangeably with the company itself. Its written review history runs through 2024, when 16 reviews landed, several from clients who said they'd used the company for years by that point — one described nearly three years of service, another several years, with the same crew showing up on schedule and doing detailed work. Reviewers that year kept circling back to two things: reliability (on time, thorough, no surprises) and being trusted alone in the house, including around pets. The site describes a Boston-area service area covering recurring house cleaning as well as move-out, apartment, and post-construction cleans. For recurring house cleaning, move-outs, or a post-construction clean in the Boston area, Self Maid's reviewers describe a small, owner-led crew that keeps clients for years — Lucimar herself is often named directly in the praise, which is unusual for a cleaning service this size.
