Septicology is a Broad Brook septic company that, by its own account, has done septic inspections, repairs, installations and pumping since 2017. A recent customer called Jasiah polite, informative, clean and on time, and recommended him for inspections. A 2026 customer said Septicology repaired their septic system and acted as their advocate through a difficult permit process with the town. A 2025 customer said Dan explained every issue found during a septic inspection on a home they were buying, and that his guidance let them negotiate a full septic system replacement before closing. A 2025 customer said Dan and his guys replaced their septic system on short notice and worked with the town to get it approved. In 2023, a customer said they called on a Friday to have a riser installed and a distribution box replaced, and the work was done by noon the following Monday. In 2021, a customer said that after one company failed to locate a septic tank, Septicology found the property had a cesspool instead, located it and cleaned it. Money and paperwork are where things went wrong. A 2024 customer said the inspection report arrived four days late and their card was charged $900 instead of the agreed $425. A 2024 customer said a camera-scope assessment could not be completed because the septic sat under the driveway, and that Dan never responded to emails about a partial refund. In 2023, a customer said a holding tank at their camp cost $10K more than their neighbor's and took longer than expected. In 2022, a customer said they were charged $405 to pump a 500-gallon tank.

Septicology LLC did an outstanding job repairing our septic system. Their professionalism, communication, punctuality and skill all were outstanding. They were easily the most professional of any contractor in any capacity that I've ever used. While going through a difficult permit process with the town, Septicology acted as our advocate, while thoroughly understanding the permit approval process, and was prompt with their support and interaction as needed. All parties at Septicology involved with the design, installation and administrative support were outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Septicology during a recent septic inspection for a home I was looking to purchase. In his inspection, Dan was extremely thorough and detailed, carefully explaining every issue they found with the system in a way that was easy to understand. Throughout my negotiations, Dan + April went above and beyond in answering my questions regarding the inspection report - he was always quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and generous with his time and advice. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to negotiate a full septic system replacement before closing, saving me from what could have been a very costly repair down the road. I highly recommend Septicology and especially Dan for anyone needing a septic inspection or expert advice. I would not hesitate to consider them for repair work and installation as well.
