SERVPRO of Milford-Orange-Stratford is a cleanup and restoration outfit; its own site says it specializes in water and fire damage, storm and mold remediation and construction, and offers 24/7 emergency service. A recent customer whose garage fire left smoke damage inside the house said the company paid close attention to the details. A recent customer said they removed the water from a flooded first floor, and the rebuild with Chuck and his staff turned it into a living area again. A 2026 customer said Mario's mitigation team came first, followed by Chuck's restoration team, with Danny and Frankie handling prep work, painting and cabinet work. A 2025 customer said Joseph Urgiles and Ricardo Murrillo took down a water-damaged exterior wall, removed the insulation and treated the mold. A recent customer said the home was not properly cleaned even after a second visit, that textiles were held for over 4 months and came back uncleaned and damaged, and that the company overcharged them and their insurer. A recent customer with a leak behind a refrigerator said the puddle on the floor was not sucked up, payment was required upfront, and they had to clean it up themselves. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0630769, as active, held by Servpro of Milford-Orange-Stratford.
The interior of our home sustained considerable smoke damage due to a fire in our garage . Servpro of Milford was fantastic! They were great at everything and paid close attention to the details. They are skilled, compassionate, efficient and great with communication. Our initial meeting was with John Comer who literally sat with me for days while getting our project underway. We live in Easton so don’t let their base location of Milford deter you from calling. Servpro has independent franchisees so make sure that you call Servpro of Milford if you are hoping to have an experience that runs as smoothly as ours did. Terrific group of professionals!
ServPro were amazing! They removed the water in a timely fashion and made sure my house was completely free of any possible mold, mildew, etc. They were true professionals. The attention to detail during the rebuild with Chuck and his staff was awesome and they were there to help me every step of the way. The advice I was given couldn't have been better. We went from a flooded first floor to a gorgeous living area
SERVPRO provided outstanding service! They responded quickly and handled everything with great professionalism and care. A special thank-you to Paulo Santiago and Italo for their excellent work, attention to detail, and helpful attitude, as well as to the entire team for making a difficult situation much easier. We truly appreciate their fast, reliable, and professional service. Highly recommended!
My experience was horrific! I would never use them again or recommend ServPro to anyone even my worst enemy. My home was not properly cleaned even after they had to come out to reclean a second time. My textiles were held/not returned for well over 4 months before finally being returned uncleaned, damaged, and missing several items. I have tried unsuccessfully to resolve these issues with ServPro with no avail! They overcharged me and my insurance company for items and services not completed. There was a tremendous lack of follow up on behalf of several employees and management. They are a direct pay company with State Farm Insurance yet I was charged for a balance State Farm refuses to pay because State Farm felt they were overcharged. I strongly encourage you to NOT USE SERVPRO for your restorative purposes!!! I am still working to resolve issues since a house fire in early October. I am in the process of filing complaints with the Attorney General's office, Better Business Bureau, State of Connecticut Insurance Department (CID), and small claims court! DO NOT EVER WORK WITH SERVPRO, MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!
A few weeks ago we discovered a leak behind the refrigerator and we called the company that delivered it and it was on a Friday, around 3pm I called and a man named Dan called me back for a unit in heritage hills, I thoroughly explained what happened to him and he sent someone, who's name I didn't get, he was bald and he was missing teeth, I asked him do you think this is the fault of the company that dropped this fridge off and he said 100% the leak wouldn't have happened if they would've waited and checked properly. He didn't suck up the puddle of water sitting on the floor, he brought a huge dehumidifier into the house, and Dan need payment upfront so the owner of the units daughter did so, a large down payment and they didn't even do their job. The contract was read thoroughly and it was brought up. Owners daughter tried to call Diane, and she was extremely rude and hung up. You wasted time, electricity, and money. We had to clean it up ourselves and do your labor. We wanted a written report and we said that on the phone and in person to this bald man, with no teeth who isn't on your website as an employee. He was nice, and he took photos, and he said a report would be written so the only way I know how to describe him is that way because that is how he looks, so no offense to him. But you need to make this right. It was done on Friday June 5th and they know who I am talking about. So you need to make this right. Both parties have used you in the past and have been satisfied so this doesn't match to what you usually do.
