SERVPRO of Plymouth/Wareham is the crew South Shore homeowners call after a pipe bursts, a basement floods, or a fire leaves rooms needing to be gutted and dried out. The franchise, based at 253 S Meadow Rd in Plymouth, has been in business 16 years according to its BBB profile and is listed as a member of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. On Google, 133 ratings average 4.8 stars, and the last six months alone brought 13 reviews with zero negative ones. Recent jobs follow a consistent shape: a demolition team that walked one family through their insurance claim step by step, another crew that stripped soaked ceilings, plaster, hardwood flooring and window casings after an ice-dam leak, and a homeowner who said mold worries disappeared once the team finished a water-damage job. A pellet-stove mishap that covered a home in soot got the same top-to-bottom treatment. Reviewers keep naming the same technicians — Jake, Pedro, Antonio, Richard — which points to a stable crew rather than rotating subcontractors. The one blemish sits on BBB: the business isn't accredited and carries a B- grade because it failed to respond to a filed complaint. Nothing else in its record points to the same kind of communication breakdown, so it's worth asking directly how that complaint was ultimately handled. For the classic disaster call — a flooded basement, fire or smoke damage, storm or ice-dam destruction — this is a long-running franchise with a deep and largely clean recent record. Before booking, confirm how they'll coordinate with your insurance adjuster and ask about that unresolved BBB complaint.

Servpro has been great in helping us find the cause of damage and who we needed to speak with. Once we started an insurance claim they sent out Jake and Matt, the demolition team and these guys explained exactly what they were doing and what next steps were. As we continue our repairs and replacement we will definitely be using the Servpro service.

During the blizzard this past winter, an ice dam caused leaks in our roof and consequently water leaked into our main bedroom. Servpro’s crew lead by John with Stephen and Dom, stripped away all the the wet and damaged ceilings, walls plaster, the hardwood flooring and window casings and cleaned up everything swept and left spotless. Wè highly recommend Servpro to clean up after any storm damage to your home. Great crew of workers. Professional, knowledgeable and Courteous.
