Several other reviewers describe the same speed. Shannon Fence works out of Billerica, installing and repairing vinyl, cedar, ornamental aluminum and chain link fencing along with gates, arbors, pool fencing and pet containment, for homes and businesses. Its BBB listing has the business as a sole proprietorship started in 1992 with one employee and Brian Shannon as owner; the company's site says it has covered eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire for 34 years. Brian turns up in the reviews at both ends of the job. A March 2025 homeowner wrote that he and his crew put in the fence and "have been available to tweak the gates as needed"; a September 2024 reviewer whose fence he had installed seven years earlier said he came back and fixed a gate post in a timely manner. A June 2024 reviewer called it "quality fence and installation at the lowest price around." One October 2024 review is a two-star, and it is about the digging. That customer said the fence itself was ok but that the crew damaged their irrigation system during the installation and did not take responsibility; they learned of it when their irrigation company came out and showed them the damage, and that company fixed it on the spot. The 5.0 on Angi and the 5.0 on HomeAdvisor are the same three wood-fence reviews from 2015, posted on both sites. The newer accounts are all on Google, where the company averages 4.8 across 17 ratings. For a straightforward residential fence — chain link, cedar, aluminum or vinyl — from a small outfit that handled the permitting itself and put one 2025 job in inside six hours, this is a sensible call. Before they break ground, ask how they locate irrigation lines and sprinkler heads and who pays if one is hit, and get the post-install gate adjustments spelled out.
