Storm doors come up again and again in reviews of Shoreline Home Services, a Saugus outfit whose customers mostly name one person: Dan Swanson. On HomeAdvisor it holds 4.9★ from 95 ratings, and the jobs people describe are the small, fiddly repairs around a house — a door that won't latch, a damaged threshold, a deck that needs fixing. Recent work follows the same line. A September 2026 review describes a damaged basement door threshold replaced with solid white oak. In a May 2026 review, a customer said Dan arrived as promised and had the door working within half an hour, at a price they called reasonable. A July 2026 customer said he repaired their deck and noticed three other small exterior repairs, which he took care of as well. Earlier accounts fill in how he works. In an August 2025 review, a customer who had botched a DIY Andersen storm door install at their daughter's house said Dan fixed the misdrilled holes and installed the door without any sign of the mistakes. A June 2025 customer described Mr Swanson helping select and order a new storm door after the old one would not stay closed, then installing it when it arrived. In a March 2025 review, another customer said he came the next day, repaired a damaged door frame and painted it too. Several reviewers from 2024 and 2025 said he came out the next day or responded right away, and several called his prices reasonable. The company's HomeAdvisor and Angi profiles list deck or porch repair, door repair, storm door repair and exterior trim repair. Angi carries a single 5.0★ rating.
