Sigma Mechanical Services is a Marshfield, Massachusetts HVAC contractor that also does plumbing, currently limited to commercial work according to its website, which also states it is licensed, insured, and available for 24/7 emergency service. The company holds active Massachusetts HVAC (#604-SM-B) and plumbing (#3596-PL-C) licenses. Its website says David Tucker founded the company in 2005 and runs it as Principal, while a 2020 south shore business review article states it was founded by Dave Tucker in 1997. Google reviewers from 2022 through 2024 repeatedly praised technicians Jeff and Jeremy by name for diagnosing AC and heating issues quickly, arriving on time, and explaining the work clearly; one customer said Jeremy fixed a heating problem other companies couldn't, and another called two condenser repairs by Jeff accurate and fast. The Better Business Bureau lists the company as an A+ accredited business, and its website states it is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, a Generac Authorized Warranty Service Dealer, an ACCA member, and NATE Certified. In a March 2025 Google review, a customer said a heating unit flooded and shot water at 5 a.m. after the company's annual maintenance, and felt the call center was slow to respond to the emergency. Sigma Mechanical fits homeowners in Marshfield, Rockland, Hanover, and Hanson looking for a licensed HVAC company for AC and heating repairs, with plumbing limited to commercial jobs.

Don't use!! We've used them as our service provider for heating. Woke up to a massive flood and water shooting out of our unit at 5am ( I suspect they didn't inspect or fix it appropriately during our annual maintenance). Called at 5am and got the call center. They took all my info but got no response. Had to figure out how to shut down the water and unit myself while cold water was spraying everywhere. Called back again at 8am and got call center again. They said they sent the message and tech got the page at 5am when I originally called. Yet no call back from the tech or anyone! Had to call back again at 9am. This time got the office. The woman on the other end couldn't have cared less that my basement was flooded, I had no heat or water, that we're regular customers and that no one called back. She said the tech was on vacation! So why have a calling service if you're not going staff it appropriately or care to respond? Frankly, if the tech called me back and said he was on vacation I would have been fine with that so I could have moved on to another emergency service sooner. Good service and communication really isn't that hard.
Every time I’ve had to call them for repairs over the years (usually for AC on the hottest of days of course) they’ve been great. I appreciate that they explain the issue and communicate well throughout the process. Highly recommend.
It’s good
Just had 2 condensers repaired by Jeff. Couldn’t be happier. He accurately and quickly assessed my issues. Resolved them in an extremely timely manner. I will be calling Sigma for all of my future ac/heating needs. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate this service on a particularly hot day.
Jeremy is the BEST! We had been through everything with many other technicians and other companies. He came out, knew what we needed and our heat hasn't stopped working since he left. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
