SK Lavery Appliance Company sells appliances and delivers and installs them. A recent Google customer who bought a clothes dryer at the Glastonbury store said the delivery men, Desean and Anthony, were professional and careful, and that Desean made sure everything was put back in place. In a 2024 Reddit comment, a buyer wrote that delivery was handled by SK Lavery employees who set everything up and tested it. A 2024 Reddit commenter said the washer and dryer installation went smoothly, with friendly, fast workers even on basement stairs. A 2023 customer said the store delivered a gas stove to the garage, then came back and installed it in the kitchen once the gas line was finished. A recent customer whose GE refrigerator had a warped freezer gasket said the Newington store's parts and service desk answered right away and arranged a new gasket under the manufacturer warranty. A 2025 customer said a microwave's tray rotator was broken after delivery, and the replacement part took three weeks to arrive and turned out to be the wrong one. A 2026 customer who bought appliances for a new build said a return visit to fix the problem was called off the next day. A 2023 customer who bought a gas stove with the extended warranty said the store hired a third party from NY for the repair. A 2022 customer said false delivery dates came and went on a fridge ordered in 2020.

I recently purchased a clothes dryer in the Glastonbury store. I have had workmen come to my home who damaged things and seemed to have very little concern about it. The delivery men, Desean & Anthony, were completely different. They were professional, careful, and incredibly helpful. Desean went out of his way to make sure everything was put back in place. Both he and Anthony made the entire experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Joe G was so helpful and all the salespeople were awesome. They made our shopping experience easy and were super honest about the availability of the appliances I wanted. No games. I'm definitely referring you to everyone I know! Also, you beat everyone else in price and products! Thanks
We purchased a GE refrigerator 8 months ago with a 5 year warranty. (9/27/2025) I started noticing tiny icicles on the freezer ceiling? Also, when the refrigerator door is pushed shut, it would pop the freezer door open. Yogurt, in the back of this 8 month old refrigerator, is frozen? Our rescue cat literally came to our rescue. He’s so smart. He jumped from the counter to top of refrigerator. I went to reach up to pet him, and I felt cold freezer air, spewing out. I opened the freezer and ran my hand over the gasket area in the door. It’s WARPED. The freezer seal is non existent. I have all the paperwork, and I hope I don’t have to endure false promises like other reviewers have expressed. UPDATE: I called the Newington store and a human answered. He transferred me over to a woman in parts and service, who also answered right away. Apparently I’m still under manufacture warranty. They are sending someone to put in a new gasket but I’m wondering what we do with frozen food while that’s happening? Also, why is the refrigerator freezing food and how does that fit into a repair instead of a full replacement? We shall see May 21, 2026. Kudos to Newington store. Also, I did get a call from Glastonbury so it seems like they’re listening to reviews. Don’t count them out yet. Thank you to everyone doing the right thing and I am 💯 sincere in that statement-
We bought a new washer and dryer from SK Lavery. They have high quality products and Jeremy provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
