Skylight Medics is a one-man specialty repair business built around a simple pitch: most foggy, clouded or leaking skylights don't need a full replacement — they need new glass. Working out of Pembroke, Eric, the business's sole technician by every account, replaces just the glass panel, typically in well under two hours, at a fraction of what a full skylight or window swap costs. The volume and consistency of the record here are striking: 58 reviews since 2024, virtually all five stars on Google (4.9 stars from 62 ratings), with the same details repeating month after month. One reviewer was quoted $13,000 to $18,000 by other contractors to replace six foggy skylights after the original manufacturer went out of business, and got the job done by Eric for far less about a week later. Others describe jobs finished in 30 to 90 minutes, with UV-resistant tint film added on request, and old, worn crank mechanisms or original installation flaws fixed along the way. Communication comes up constantly — arrival-time texts, photo-based quotes, and, in a few reviews, Eric telling a customer that a skylight they assumed needed replacing was actually still fine. Several customers say they've used him more than once over the years. The written record doesn't surface any real complaints — reviews across the past several months are uniformly positive, describing prompt scheduling and fair, transparent pricing. The main thing to confirm directly is simply his current availability, since demand for a specialist this well-reviewed can mean a short wait for scheduling. For a foggy, leaking or aging skylight, or a similar glass-only fix on a window or slider, Skylight Medics has an unusually deep and consistent record of fast, honest, and notably cheaper-than-replacement work.

Eric did a fabulous job for us. Our 40 year old skylight was streaky and dirty. He showed up on time, replaced our glass with new that included protective film to help with UV rays in less than an hour! Saved us a ton of money with repair vs replacement. The skylight looks brand new, has a great warranty and we couldn't be happier. Don't replace...fix it with this wonderful contractor.
Had 6 foggy skylights that needed to be replaced. Manufacturer was out of business. Contractors wanted to charge between 13k to 18k to do the job. Contacted skylight medics got a great price and had the job done about a week later. Eric did a great job, very professional. We are very happy with the job.
Eric quickly responded and got our skylight replaced within a day of reaching out to him. Very pleasant and efficient.
I've used Skylight Medics several times over the past few years. The service has been excellent with fair pricing and good communications throughout the process. Highly recommend!
Blown away by this service! Eric is professional, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We had three skylight windows replaced, in about an hour, with as much mess as I make when I make a cup of tea (none!). We added the tinting to the windows and it has already considerably cooled our upstairs (cape style home). Don't waste your money going anywhere else.
