SmallJobber is an in-house handyman company serving Boston and surrounding towns, with additional service in Worcester and Providence. The company describes repairs, installations, maintenance, punch lists, and small projects, and says its technicians are employees, insured, and background-checked. Customers have described wall mounting, cabinet and drawer repairs, leak-related repairs, ceiling painting, tub relining, storm-door installation, and bathroom renovation work. The nine-review Thumbtack history from 2024–2025 is uniformly five-star, with reviewers repeatedly mentioning prompt arrival, communication, quality work, and willingness to hire again. Ask about the boundaries of a small-job engagement and the fixed scope before booking. The company publishes starting prices of $179 for a small job and $449 for a punch list, with free estimates for larger scoped work. It is a strong fit for household repairs, installations, trim, drywall, fixture swaps, and maintenance where a single in-house team and clear price are useful.

Amazing work! I had a bunch of things I needed mounted on my walls and am so glad I went with Smalljobber. Would hire again
Charles replaced my lazy Susan swiftly, since we had time left he tackled a broken drawer as well. Great work!
Great experience working with Charles. He showed up promptly, he did great work. I'd hire him again!
I've worked with Charles on a variety of projects for both my rental property as well as my personal property. He's done everything from small projects (replace outlet covers, fix holes in the wall, readjust doors and drawers that aren't working properly) to much bigger projects (bathroom renovation). Not only is the work completed with high quality, but Charles will partner with you on ideating solutions to tricky problems. He helps me select the right items (vanity, mirror, etc) to pre-emptively avoid complications down the road. If I pick a mirror that will require a lot more installation work (and $$$), he lets me know so I can decide whether this is where I want to put the money or whether I would rather just pick a different mirror (say). I highly, highly recommend using Charles for you next home improvement project.
Charles has been a loyal contact for years. Hes kind, timely, fair, and communicative. Hes successfully repaired after a leak, painted a ceiling, relined a tub, and installed a storm door. Hes a knowledgeable and experienced contractor that I would recommend to a friend or neighbor.
