On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 37 ratings. A recent Google customer building an ADU said Ryan cleared the land, installed the septic system and dry well, poured the foundation and slab, dug the trench for the well and put in a driveway, and also built a stone wall and spread mulch. That recent customer said Ryan always answered calls in a timely manner. A recent customer said the crew excavated, then delivered and installed over 100 tons of gravel, loam and base rock for a gravel driveway. A 2025 customer hired the company to remove old asphalt from a lot and driveway, excavate, grade and resurface them with crushed stone, and pour a new concrete driveway apron and sidewalk. That 2025 customer said Ryan explained the pros and cons of the options and saved them several thousand dollars by explaining why a product they had assumed was necessary was not. That 2025 customer also said Ryan refused to charge for the additional time that operating extra-quietly required. A 2026 customer who hired Ryan for a gravel driveway said the company's digging exposed the underground footing of the mailbox, that Ryan at first said it was not his responsibility, and that it was addressed only after several months of arguing. That 2026 customer also said the landscape fabric under the gravel had been coming up through the gravel in multiple spots.
This crew did an amazing job installing our gravel driveway, they excavated, then delivered and installed over 100 tons of gravel, loam and base rock combined. Bonus- They found our new favorite pet rock that now lives in our back yard. It stands roughly 3 feet tall, open to name suggestions. Will definitely call them again for future projects. Always hire local
Working with Solitro Property Solutions on my ADU I am building ,was the best decision I made. Ryan and his crew were with me from the beginning of my project till the end. He always answered all my calls in a timely manner and solved any issue that came up. He cleared the land, installed my septic system and dry well, poured my foundation and slab, dug the trench for my well and put in a driveway. He also built a beautiful stone wall and spread out mulch. I would highly recommend Ryan and his company, he was someone I could count on 100 percent. It was a pleasure working with him and his crew. I look forward to the fall when he comes back to spread and screen my loam and plant grass seed...R C Hammoond
I hired Ryan and his team to create a gravel driveway. It wasn’t until after I had sent the final payment that I noticed their digging had exposed the underground footing of my mailbox. At first Ryan said it wasn’t his responsibility. After several months of arguing and cajoling, they finally addressed the issue. Also, the landscape fabric they put under the gravel either wasn’t tacked down sufficiently or at all, because pretty much from the beginning it has been coming up through the gravel in multiple spots.
They do great work
In spring 2025, Ryan Solitro was one of several contractors with whom I met on-site to discuss and price the final major project at my just-built house, which was to demolish and remove the old asphalt paving the lot and driveway; then excavate, grade, and resurface them with some permeable material (I chose crushed stone), and pour a new concrete driveway apron and sidewalk, per Providence code for new construction. Although I'd spent months educating myself about different surface materials, installation procedures, degrees of slope, water drainage, maintenance, cost, and so on, I was going to be highly dependent upon the expertise, communication skill, and ethics of the contractor. Ryan was top-notch in all respects. He explained clearly the pros and cons of various options, answered my 100 questions in as much detail as I needed and brought up other considerations that hadn't occured to me. His experience, obvious knowledge, easy self-confidence, and his respect for my modest means further won my confidence in his judgment and advice. (He saved me several thousand dollars by convincingly explaining why a product I'd assumed was absolutely necessary wasn't.) His promptness and transparent honesty in all arrangements of timing, deliveries, contract, permit, etc., won my trust and appreciation (shout out to office manager Sydney!). His warmth and humor was a plus, particularly in placating an irascible machinery-averse neighbor (and he refused to charge me for the additional time that operating extra-quietly required). Ryan's two crew members, Fernando and Hunter, were equally meticulous and swiftly efficient in executing the work—and the work looks absolutely great. In getting this house built, hiring Solitro Property Solutions is one of the few entirely correct, regret-free decisions I made!
