SRC Roofing works out of 166 Brook Road in Quincy and, by the company's own description, takes on commercial and historical roofing across Quincy and Boston. On Google it carries 4.7 stars from six ratings. One thing to raise early: federal OSHA's site carries an inspection tied to the company's Quincy address, listing one initial violation and a $1,020 initial penalty. Ask what that citation covered and how site safety is run on jobs now. For a commercial building, or an older roof that has to be put back in keeping with the original, this is the kind of shop to call. Before you sign, ask to see the company's Massachusetts registration and a current certificate of insurance, and ask for two recent roofs like yours you can call about.
