Max Roofing

Max Roofing, LLC works out of Braintree, and its Better Business Bureau profile lists nine years in business. The two written customer accounts on Google both date to 2021, and they describe two very different jobs. In August 2021 a homeowner wrote that the work went smoothly from start to finish, singling out the company's communication and the quality of the roof. Weeks earlier, in July 2021, another customer wrote that the roof began leaking about a year after it was done, that calls to the office were never returned, and that they were going to take legal action. Google's page averages 3.3 stars across four ratings. The Better Business Bureau page is the thing to raise on the phone: it carries a B- grade, which the bureau ties to the company not responding to a complaint filed there. For a straightforward roof job in the Braintree area, vet the after-the-job side first — ask who takes a leak call once the crew has gone, get the workmanship warranty and its length in writing, and confirm the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration and insurance before any deposit.
