STAR PAINTERS LLC

One Star Painters customer reached his cottage on Cedar Island in Clinton only by boat, and the crew made the trip for ten days. That October 2024 reviewer had also hired Demir eight years earlier for a house in Killingworth. A June 2026 review names Demir as the owner of the Watertown company, which says it has been in business 21 years and holds a 5.0 from 110 ratings on Angi, a 4.9 from 68 on Google, a 4.9 from 59 on Thumbtack and a 4.8 from 17 on Houzz. In 2026, a September customer said Demir came to see a newly built front porch the same day and fit the job in before a larger one as fall weather approached; a June reviewer, on a third job with the company, said Demir "was on site each day." An April 2026 customer said the crew prepared the surfaces and repaired minor wall damage before painting during a home renovation. In March 2026, a reviewer had popcorn ceilings removed, a condo painted, luxury vinyl flooring installed in every room and a basement concrete floor sealed with epoxy. A September 2025 customer had the house exterior painted and the deck stained with Benjamin Moore products, rotting boards replaced and every window and door wrapped. An April 2025 reviewer said a "large, ugly, peeling deck" was refinished in two days. A June 2024 Houzz reviewer who has used the company for 10 years said it repaints the siding and trim and seals a cedar deck, and that Demir handles faux and Venetian plaster finishes. In November 2024, a Houzz reviewer said Demir agreed to the job, "asked for cash and never gave us the proposal we asked for." Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0650176, is active under Star Painters LLC. Its Better Business Bureau grade is an A+, and the BBB lists it as accredited.
