The Gardner News reported in July 2026 that the shop was marking its 115th anniversary, and an earlier feature described John Stasukelis and his wife Stephanie as the fourth generation to run it. The service side is what recent customers write about most. A homeowner whose refrigerator quit on a Friday night wrote in 2025 that a message left before opening on Saturday got an answer at 7am and a technician between 2 and 4 that afternoon. Repair technicians are named repeatedly — Mike, Jeremy, Rick — and reviewers describe a lid switch diagnosed and replaced in forty minutes, a Bosch dishwasher fixed, an LG dishwasher gasket and spray arm replaced with advice on what caused the failure. A 2026 reviewer who had used them twice called them responsive, quick to schedule and thorough, with costs "more than reasonable". They are the right call for a household that wants an appliance bought and serviced by the same local shop rather than a big-box handoff — and they clearly do come out fast when something breaks. Get any rebate offer in writing before you upgrade a model on the strength of it, and ask what the diagnostic visit costs and what happens if a warranty repair needs a second trip.
