A customer whose built-in cooktop started smoking after cleaners sprayed something into it said Edward gave repair and replacement options with pricing, suggested letting the unit dry overnight and followed up the next morning; the cooktop was back to normal. A refrigerator customer said Ed judged the unit not worth fixing and gave paperwork documenting his findings for a possible reimbursement, then fixed a clogged washer while there. A 2025 customer said Ed fabricated a fan for an aging GE fridge because the fans were no longer made, at $410 instead of $2000.
