Steven River's Handyman Services lists cabinet repair, deck and porch repair, small painting and tiling projects, wood fence repair and thermostat installation among its services on HomeAdvisor. In a 2007 review, a customer said Mr. Rivers gave an estimate on a dozen small tasks ranging from light carpentry to tile work to installing a ceiling fan, provided the estimate within hours of meeting them, and completed all the original tasks, with areas cleaned and debris removed when finished. In a 2008 review, a customer said that when one of their screens was missing, Steven took an intact screen with him and had another one made, then came back and installed all of the screens he could from the outside, charging a reasonable price. In a 2009 review, a customer said Steve assembled the brackets for an antenna, affixed them to the house, and then attached the antenna and mast. A separate 2009 review said Mr. Rivers came over to survey a project re-aligning European kitchen cabinet hinges, quoted the price and did a professional job. In a 2010 review, a customer thanked Steve for a new bathroom regrouting and new tile, done with his business assistant. In a 2011 review, a customer said Steven always called to let them know what time he would arrive and that the job was done on time and at budget. A 2011 review described a tile job with numerous issues: the customer said they had to re-tile over the work Steven Rivers did to correct puddles on the shower floor, that grout was caked on top of the tile and left to dry, and that many areas were not grouted at all.

Horrible Job! The work was a tile job in which there were numerous issues. We had to re-tile over the work that Steven Rivers did to correct the shower floor from puddles. Grout was caked on top of tile and left to dry. Many areas were not grouted at all. After paying top dollar, we had to redo much of the work. Big Mistake on our part.
Steven always called to let me know what time he would arrive to begin work, he did a quality job and was very easy to work with. The job looks terrific and it was done on time and at budget/quote. I would recommend him for grout/regrout or other handman jobs!
Steve Rivers and his business assistant were did everything that was discussed with precision and professionalism. The men were courteous and punctual. My partner and I are very pleased with the job and will continue to use Steve for other household jobs. Thanks Steve for my new bathroom regrouting and new tile.
Steven Rivers did a great job. He came on time and was very professional. He was very friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Steven.
Mr. Rivers responded to the request quickly, came over to survey the project (re-aligning european kitchen cabinet hinges - a real pain), quoted the price and we set a date. He was prompt and did a professional job. I am completely satisfied.
