Stone Lab Surfaces LLC

Stone Lab Surfaces LLC fabricates and installs stone countertops. A recent customer said everything from templating to installation was completed in less than 7 days, with clean seams, and credited Hayrullah with handling every detail. A recent customer had granite counter tops installed and also ordered backsplash tile through them, but said calls were not always made and they had to make contact themselves. A recent customer said the granite looked great on a kitchen island. A recent customer wrote that they helped with a kitchen countertop and sink. The company says on its website that it uses Slabsmith software for vein matching seams and mitered edges, and sends a PDF layout for approval before fabrication. Its website lists a service area of New Haven, Middlesex, Hartford, New London, Fairfield, Litchfield, Tolland and Windham. A 2026 customer said cabinets went in on a Thursday, the templating was done the next morning in about 20 minutes, and the installers later put in 2 countertops, the backsplashes and an undermount sink in about an hour and a half. A 2024 customer said their undermount kitchen sink had collapsed, that Stone Lab was the only one of at least 10 stone companies to offer help, and that they reattached it to the already-installed granite. A 2024 customer said Stone Lab did both the kitchen and the master bathroom in less than a day. A 2025 customer said the island overhang came out short after it had been discussed in person with Hayrullah, that he pointed to the Slabsmith document instead, and that they filed a dispute with their credit card company after signing the job completion form. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672213, as active, held by Stone Lab Surfaces LLC.
