Structures Home*Work*Living LLC

Structures Home*Work*Living is Paul Immer's Medford-based general contracting and renovation company — the website describes major remodeling and new-construction work for homeowners and real estate investors, and town permit records show jobs ranging from a Roxbury renovation that added two kitchens, three bathrooms and new fire-safety egress to a Somerville demolition and a Milton termite-damage repair. In a 2013 review, one customer described having a granite countertop, sink and garbage disposal installed in a single day, and said they'd already hired Paul again for another job. Another, also from 2013, called the finish work on a larger project fantastic and said they planned to bring Structures back for a bathroom remodel next. The platform-level ratings tell a different story than those written accounts. Angi shows an overall 0.5 out of 5 across four reviews — but that low number traces almost entirely to a single December 2018 half-star rating on a major renovation that carries no written explanation at all, not to a documented complaint. Separately, a 2018 BuildZoom lead-feedback entry for a dormer addition is tagged "stopped responding," a real, if unexplained, red flag about that particular inquiry. For a homeowner considering a kitchen or bathroom project, the actual written track record here is positive and specific — but given the unexplained low score and the unresponsive-lead tag, it's worth asking directly about current responsiveness and getting a couple of recent references before committing to a larger renovation.
