Subzero Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is a heating and air conditioning company based in Taunton, MA. In a 2018 review, the owner came out for a job appraisal the same day he called, and the complete central A/C install was done in two days; that review says they followed up a couple days after the work to make sure everything was functioning properly. A 2015 review says the new system was up and running in less than five days from the first phone call, with the install taking less than 5 hours. A 2012 review says the owner, David McKinnon, waited for a scheduled emergency appointment on a Saturday during a brutal heat wave; while waiting, he took a look at the system, ascertained what was wrong and fixed it, and had the new system installed 48 hours later. In a 2009 review, Subzero set up a plan to replace a heating and AC system in 2 stages, sent information on all of the parts up front without being asked, and did a very neat job with the duct work. In a 2008 review, David engineered a new duct to add a lower-level condo room to the central system, added central a/c and replaced the furnace. Another 2008 review describes a ductless split system install from Fujitsu in which the amount quoted was the amount paid. A 2008 review of an AC install in a South End condo building says David handled the building's rules on when contractors could work and still finished in a timely way. In a 2008 review, David and his father replaced a forced hot-air furnace and also replaced two air ducts. A 2007 review describes a plan to convert a split level house from electric to gas heat, with Dave emailing an estimate and proposal the night of the walk-through. A 2009 review of a central A/C install said "he finished teh job right but never showed up to fix the problem."
