Chris at Sunnyrock is a true craftsman. He listened to our hopes for new island stools and created a work of art. Our walnut stools are timeless, solid, and incredibly comfortable. You can sit in them for hours around the island and all our guests are enjoying them. He also helped us design a custom kitchen table and chairs made of white oak. Our small children do everything in their power to ruin the table with food and utensils and the table looks incredible. The table is solid and beautiful. His furniture has added so much warmth to our kitchen, and for a family that entertains, our guests are comfortable around our table. Chris is easy to work with, creative, punctual and fair. We could not recommend him enough.

If you are looking for high quality standard or unique pieces, Chris is your person! His craftsmanship and ability to build pieces that best suit your needs and space is exceptional. One of the things he built was floating shelves. None of the walls were square but he built them to fit beautifully. He is also a great person to just talk to. I highly recommend Chris for any of your custom wood pieces!

We were introduced to Sunnyrock through mutual friends and were floored with the craftsmanship we saw. We've always dreamed of having a live-edge table and Chris more than delivered an extraordinary piece for us. From advising and helping us pick out our own slab of claro walnut, to sourcing the iron legs based off a picture we sent him of what we wanted - it truly is a custom piece of art we will always cherish. He even found a piece of wood for the bench that looks like it was a part of the original slab. It's absolutely gorgeous. I cannot rave enough about the work Sunnyrock does! I have gotten MULTIPLE pieces from him and each one is professionally and gorgeously crafted. From cutting boards I’ve given to my parents and significant other’s parents (what a great gift btw! Both sets of parents raved about them) to beautiful Adirondack chairs, to my prized, live edge table- each piece has been beautifully done. I asked Chris a while back to keep an eye out for a slab for a live edge table- a piece I’ve wanted for my house for SO long. He found the PERFECT slab and transformed it into a show stopping focal point to my house. He chose the most amazing finish and picked legs that rounded out the look perfectly.
