This solar was less than 4 years old when these pictures were taken. They hire unlicensed electricians who don't pull permits and make the situation worse and leave electrical wires laying on your roof for over a year. Theses were the people who they sent out to fix the holes in our roof that were left by them and the amount of damaged it caused is severe. They even left the rotten rafters in the roof too. We tried to work with them too because they kept promising they'd take care of us. Oh they are sure taking care of us. Our roof is still leaking and there's tons of mold and no insulation a year later. They aren't taking any of it seriously either while we deal with the issues and ever increasing potential for a house fire. These are the ethics of the people that you would be dealing with if you choose Sunrun. Choose wisely. This is all thoroughly documented and has been submitted to the the State for review and investigation and can be presented as valid proof and not defamatory statements.

DO NOT USE this company!!!! I warned you!!!!! I got solar 3 years ago system has never worked correctly since i had them install my light bill is between $340 all the way up to $500 called first year they said this is the break in phase and next year will be much better okay sounds good i do hvac have no idea about this. We are here on my 3rd year light bills still the same with no help from sun run!! Durning install my roof leaked after install Side of my house were they put meter Brock my siding and they really don't care please please if u read this and want solar go else were much cheaper this company sux!!!!! Lie and cheat u out of u money and it keeps going till ur lease is done!!!!!!!! If i could leave a -10 review i would!!!!!

Homeowners beware…DO NOT do business with Sunrun for solar. We have been raising the red flag about our solar panel underproduction for two years. After being told over and over that our system was healthy, they finally sent out a tech last week who found that TEN panels were not installed on our home correctly and have never worked. Now Sunrun is refusing to provide any reimbursement or recourse for the astronomical amounts of money we’ve spent between paying for the panels and also paying the electric bills that we shouldn’t have. This includes them breaching their own contract, which states they will reimburse for underproduction after an analysis every two years. They have already promised this reimbursement once, never processed it, and now state that they won’t. Sunrun claims that they tried to contact us to tell us there was an issue with our system in early 2025, which is demonstrably false. I have multiple texts and emails from them throughout 2025 stating our system was “healthy and producing energy” because we continued to open service tickets with them to have it checked. They neglected to send someone out and do a thorough check until YEARS after installation no matter how many times we alerted them that there was clearly a problem, and now that we have been proven right, they refuse to take accountability or provide even the smallest semblance of customer service. Despite my not wanting to involve the courts, we’ll be hiring a lawyer and heading for litigation. If a SunRun representative knocks on your door, slam it closed in their face.

Their sales reps keep showing up at my door even though I have told them we already have solar. They show up late in the evening when our kids are sleeping and just showed up on a Sunday. I have also told them we work overnights and to stop coming. If you want Solar in this area I recommend Lunex
