Supreme Waterproofing is a two-person, Holden-based outfit that homeowners call when a basement won't stay dry — French drains, sump pumps, and moisture sealing are what keeps coming up in its history. It says it's been at it since 2014, when owner Nicholas Stewart, who had spent years working up from laborer to foreman in the trade, struck out on his own; the company still serves Holden and Worcester today, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license is active. Fourteen reviews going back to 2021 across four different sources come back five stars every time, and Google alone shows a 5.0 average from 23 ratings. The pattern that repeats year after year is Nick himself showing up — not a rotating crew — walking people through French drain and sump pump jobs and explaining what's actually wrong in plain terms. Nobody has left a bad word about the work. The most recent signal, from this spring, is a real estate investor who has now hired the company across several of his own projects and calls the pricing fair and the service good — a small but telling sign the relationship holds up past a single job. Before booking, it's worth asking about scheduling: one directory profile lists the team at just two people, which matters if the job is big or the timeline is tight. And while the track record is clean, the pace of new reviews has slowed — only one in the last six months — so it's fair to confirm current lead times directly rather than assume they match the older reviews. This is a solid call for a wet basement, a failing sump pump, or a foundation that needs interior drainage — less so if a project needs a larger crew moving fast. Get a firm timeline before signing; the verified license and years of clean reviews back up trusting them with the work.

Very professional team and a great job putting a French drain in our basement.

We have an 1895 house with a fieldstone foundation. Every year after the spring rains water comes up through the rat slab. Over the years I’ve patched the walls, but the floor remains a problem. We began looking for an interior French drain a couple years ago. The first contractor ghosted us. The second would install the drain, but only if we let him encapsulate the walls as well with plastic sheeting, which we thought would just trap moisture and mold. The third, a national franchise, would do the job with their proprietary system, but wanted $24,000 (with a 5% discount if we decided that day- the house isn’t that big!) We reached out to Nicholas at Supreme Waterproofing. He came over later that week for an estimate, even though we were 50 miles from his home base. He itemized exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost- about half what the national franchise wanted.. We liked the idea that he was the owner. He and his crew Justin showed up on time and worked straight for three days. They cleaned up inside and outside- no mess. The basement looks great. Did it work? We won’t know till next spring, but he guaranteed his work. We would clearly use him again.

Nick did an excellent job of moisture sealing the basement in our new home. He was extremely professional at every step of the process, from getting a quote to completing the job. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and was easy to communicate with at every stage. Our basement looks brand new! His work is meticulous, with excellent workmanship. I can not recommend him more enthusiastically!

Nick responded to my call and came out to my property same day. He answered all of my (many) questions with patience and expertise, and gave me an honest opinion that I should wait before taking action. He didn't charge me for the inspection and left me feeling relieved and informed. In the future when we do some work on our basement, I will definitely be contacting him. Honest, professional, knowledgeable. Thank you!
